For Mike, the adventure of video production began in Las Vegas when his older brother made a "movie" using action figures and the family camcorder. Of course, wanting to be as cool as the older sibling is as natural an instinct as any; hence, little Michael decided to produce a filmmaking masterpiece of his own. Unfortunately, the Action figures were off-limits so legos and stuffed animals had to suffice. Naturally, the film was a smash hit and audiences worldwide were captivated by the intense action of legos and stuffed animals falling down stairs in a remote-control truck. Michael went on to produce movies starring his younger brother and eventually even got the cinematography merit badge. He took the video and multimedia classes offered in high school every year and later graduated with an Associate's degree from the Digital Media department of Utah Valley University. Michael then worked as a cameraman and editor for KJZZ Television for a year before a brief stint teaching English in China.
MikeAlger, as he is sometimes known, currently works for Cornerstone Homes LLC creating virtual tours of homes, inter-office videos, and the Savvy Investor series. He also spends his free time participating in smaller film festivals for which he has won a handful of awards.
